Hey everyone, I’m Jayme. I am a mom, wife, lover of wine and chocolate, TV and book addict, and a writer.

Even though my amazing husband and I went to all the same schools growing up, we didn’t meet until our early twenties. But better late than never, right? And we now have two beautiful and sassy young daughters who both motivate and distract me.

With a  lifetime love of the written word, a B.A. in English from CSU Sacramento, and the occasional Disney movie as babysitter (or maybe not so occasional), I am finally embarking on the write life.

My main project right now is a women’s fiction novel that examines the relationship between three generations of women in one family and the fallout from keeping secrets. I also write short stories, some of which I will post on this website, along with blog posts about my life, my thoughts on relationships and human nature (which is what I like to explore in my writing), and about books (because books are everything, duh).

Born and raised in the suburbs of the San Francisco Bay Area, I sometimes secretly think of moving somewhere (not too far) out in the country, where I can have a library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases and rolling ladder, and views of pine trees, sunsets, and wildflowers to inspire me. But my fear of bugs and wild animals likes to squash that dream.
